When completing identity verification through the secure link provided by Moneybase, you can select from several types of identification documents.
Which documents are supported?
The verification process supports the following document types:
- National identity card: Photograph the front and back.
- Passport: Photograph the page containing your photograph and personal details.
- Driving licence: Photograph the front and back.
- Residence permit: Photograph the front and back.
*The document types available for selection may depend on the issuing country.
How can I make sure my document is captured correctly?
To help ensure your document can be verified:
- Use a well-lit area and avoid reflections or glare.
- Place your document on a plain, dark surface.
- Make sure the entire document is visible, including all four corners.
- Keep your phone steady when taking the photograph.
- Check that all text and details are clear and readable before uploading.
If the image is unclear, select Redo and take another photograph.
Can I submit my documents without accessing the Moneybase app?
Yes. If you cannot access the Moneybase app, our Support Team can arrange for a secure verification link to be sent to you by SMS.
You can then complete the process directly through your mobile phone's browser.
