My phone has been lost or stolen

Modified on Thu, 27 Nov, 2025 at 12:31 PM

If your mobile phone has been misplaced or stolen, it is important to act quickly to protect your Moneybase account and personal information.

We recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Use your phone’s operating system to remote-lock or erase the device. This can usually be done through:

    • Apple’s Find My iPhone

    • Android’s Find My Device

  2. Report the theft or loss to your mobile provider and local police. This ensures your SIM is blocked and the incident is recorded.

  3. Contact us so we can monitor your account for any suspicious activity and take precautionary action if needed.

Regaining access to your account

Once you have a new phone:

  1. Download the Moneybase app from the App Store or Google Play

  2. Log in using your mobile number and passcode

  3. For security, we strongly recommend updating your Moneybase passcode once you have logged in

If you cannot access your account or are unsure about the safety of your credentials, please reach out to us so we can assist you directly.
