Yes. A Moneybase account can be opened for a minor, with consent from a parent or legal guardian.


Key things to know:

  • Parental/guardian consent is required to open and manage the account

  • The parent or guardian will manage the account until the minor turns 16 (or is legally emancipated)

  • Once the minor turns 16:

    • They take full control of the account

    • Parental/guardian access and authority are automatically removed

  • The account includes:

    • Free SEPA transfers

    • Moneybase card access (physical & virtual)

    • Eligibility for rewards and promotions


Online trading will only be enabled once the account holder turns 18, as required by law
