Do you offer accounts for minors?

Modified on Thu, 12 Feb at 1:45 PM

You can open a Moneybase account for a minor with consent from a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian manages the account until the minor turns 16, or is legally emancipated.

When the minor turns 16, they take full control of the account and parental or guardian access is automatically removed.

The account includes free SEPA transfers, access to a physical and virtual Moneybase card, and eligibility for rewards and promotions where applicable.

Online trading can be used from the adult’s profile within the minor account structure, however it is not activated or accessible from the minor’s own profile.

How to open a minor account

If you are a parent or legal guardian and would like to open an account for a minor, email support@moneybase.com and we will guide you step by step.
