Yes. If you are 16 or older, you can open a free Moneybase payment account in minutes from the app. You get a personal MT IBAN, free SEPA euro transfers, instant transfers to other Moneybase users, and a free virtual and physical Mastercard that works with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Xiaomi Pay, and Garmin Pay.

About the €60 stipend bonus

Students who receive their stipend directly into their Moneybase IBAN get a €60 bonus. The bonus is linked to receiving your stipend on Moneybase and is advertised as a welcome top-up on your stipend. Full terms apply.

Opening your account

Download the Moneybase app, complete verification with your passport or national ID, and your account is typically ready within minutes. Your virtual card is available straight away and you can add it to your mobile wallet immediately.

Minors and under-16s

If you are under 16, a Moneybase account can be opened with a parent or legal guardian’s consent by contacting support. From age 16 you can open your own individual account.
