How can I raise/modify an order?

Modified on Thu, 12 Feb at 1:33 PM

Open Invest and use the search bar to find the stock, ETF, or fund you want to trade. Some instruments are listed on more than one market and currency (for example, Apple on Frankfurt in EUR and on Nasdaq in USD). Choose the listing that matches the market and currency you prefer.

Tap Buy and fill in your order details: choose Buy or Sell, enter the number of shares (or cash amount if fractions are supported), pick the order type (market or limit), and set the validity (for example, Day or GTC if available). Make sure the Order Preview toggle is on, then tap Place Buy Order to see the preview. The preview shows the trade value, your current holding, and your available cash. Check everything carefully and confirm to submit.

If you need to change or cancel before it executes, go to Orders, select the active order, and tap Modify/Cancel. Once an order has executed, it can’t be edited; you would place a new order if you want to adjust your position.

If you choose a non-EUR listing, an FX conversion may apply. Orders placed outside regular market hours will queue and execute when the market opens or during the next eligible session.
