Moneybase may suspend, restrict or end your Moneybase Club membership, either completely or in relation to a specific benefit.
This may happen if:
- You no longer meet the eligibility requirements
- You materially breach the Moneybase Club Terms and Conditions or other applicable Moneybase terms
- Moneybase reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, manipulation or misuse of the programme
- Your continued participation could breach a law, regulation, sanctions requirement or order from a competent authority
- You close your Moneybase account
- Moneybase closes your account in accordance with the applicable terms
What is considered misuse?
Examples of misuse include:
- Artificially increasing or maintaining your qualifying balance solely to obtain benefits
- Coordinating transactions with another person to obtain benefits improperly
- Attempting to avoid the limits, caps or exclusions that apply to the programme
- Using Moneybase Club in a fraudulent, abusive or deceptive way
Where Moneybase identifies misuse, it may:
- Withhold or reverse benefits
- Recover the value of benefits obtained improperly
- Suspend or terminate your membership
- Report the conduct to the relevant authorities
Will Moneybase notify me?
Moneybase will normally notify you through the app, push notification or email.
However, we may be unable to notify you in advance where doing so is prohibited by law or could compromise a legitimate investigation.
Will ending my Club membership close my account?
Not necessarily. Ending your Moneybase Club membership does not automatically close your Moneybase account.
Your account and the other terms that apply to it may continue separately.
Moneybase may also amend or discontinue Moneybase Club. Where reasonably practicable, members will be notified through official Moneybase communication channels.
