What happens if my qualifying balance decreases?

Modified on Tue, 8 Sep at 5:46 AM

If your qualifying balance falls below the threshold for your current tier, your membership will not change immediately. A grace period applies first.

The applicable grace period begins on the first day your qualifying balance is assessed as being below the threshold for your current tier.

For the current grace period applicable to Select, Premier and Elite, visit the Moneybase Club page.

What happens during the grace period?

You remain in your existing tier and continue receiving its benefits during the grace period.

If your qualifying balance returns to or exceeds the required threshold during this period, the grace period ends and your tier remains unchanged.

What happens when the grace period expires?

If your qualifying balance remains below the required threshold when the grace period expires:

  • You will move to the tier that matches your qualifying balance; or
  • Your Moneybase Club membership will end if your balance is below the entry-tier threshold

We will notify you through the app, push notification or email if your tier changes or your membership ends.

The change takes effect from the date of the notification. Benefits linked to your previous tier stop accruing from that date.

What happens if I qualify again?

If your tier is changed or your membership ends and you later qualify again, this will be treated as a new enrolment.

Your membership will start again from the date we notify you that you have qualified.
