If an order to buy or sell did not go through, it usually means the order could not match the market or did not meet a rule on the venue. Check the points below and try again. If it still fails, open the in-app chat and share the order ID and a screenshot so we can help.
Price and size
Your limit price was too far from the current market price. Try a price closer to the market.
Your limit price did not match the venue’s tick size. Edit the price to a valid step.
The order amount was below the venue’s minimum value or share quantity. Increase the size.
Order type and validity
The instrument accepts limit only. Resubmit as a limit order.
The instrument accepts market only. Resubmit as a market order.
Stop order trigger was on the wrong side of the market. For a stop loss on a buy, the trigger must be above the current price; for a stop loss on a sell, the trigger must be below.
The order expired. If it was set to Day and the market closed, submit again or choose GTC if available.
Instrument status
The instrument is suspended, halted, or in auction, so new orders are restricted.
The instrument is no longer available to buy or has changed trading conditions.
Funds and holdings
Insufficient settled funds for a buy, or not enough available shares to sell.
Currency conversion not available or failed. Check FX settings if trading in a non-EUR market.
Market hours
You tried to place an order outside trading hours and the venue does not accept that order type out of hours. Place it during the main session or use a valid type for pre or post market if supported.
Account or compliance
A required document or setting is missing, or there is a temporary restriction on the account or instrument.
What to do next
Review the order: price, size, order type, time in force.
Check the instrument page for trading status and hours.
Confirm you have settled funds or available shares and, if needed, the correct currency.
Try again with an adjusted price, size, or order type.
