Which purchases count towards Refer a Friend?

Qualifying transactions must be genuine consumer purchases made with the friend's Moneybase card. The number of purchases and any minimum spend per purchase or cumulative spend are shown on the Referral Screen in the app.

ATM withdrawals and Moneybase-to-Moneybase transfers do not count. Transactions in excluded merchant categories do not count either, including money transfers, cash disbursements, quasi-cash and stored-value funding, payment-service transactions, and gambling or betting. Classification depends on the merchant category code assigned to the transaction, so a payment that looks like a purchase may still be excluded.
