Mastercard Day Malta 2026 cashback

Mastercard Day Malta 2026 is a cashback campaign for eligible Mastercard cardholders in Malta.

You may receive €10 cashback when you use your eligible Moneybase Mastercard to spend €50 or more at eligible grocery stores or supermarkets in Malta during an eligible earning period.

The campaign runs from 5 May 2026 to 30 June 2026, and only purchases made on eligible Tuesdays can qualify.

Cashback is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so meeting the spend requirement does not guarantee cashback.

Each eligible card can receive one €10 cashback in Earning Period 1 and one €10 cashback in Earning Period 2. This means a card can receive a maximum of €20 cashback during the full campaign.

For each earning period, only the first 7,497 unique eligible cards that meet the campaign conditions can receive cashback. Once this limit, or the overall campaign budget, is reached, cashback will no longer be awarded for that earning period.

Who can take part?

You may be eligible if:

• You use an eligible Moneybase Mastercard. 
• Your card is active. 
• Your card is not a Maestro or commercial card. 
• You shop at an eligible grocery store or supermarket in Malta. 
• The merchant is classified as MCC 5411: Grocery Stores, Supermarkets. 
• You spend €50 or more within the same earning period. 
• Your eligible transactions clear by 14 July 2026. 
• The campaign limit has not already been reached. 

What are the eligible dates?

The offer applies only on Tuesdays during the campaign.

Earning Period 1 - Eligible Tuesdays:

• 5 May 2026 
• 12 May 2026 
• 19 May 2026 
• 26 May 2026 

Earning Period 2 - Eligible Tuesdays:

• 2 June 2026 
• 9 June 2026 
• 16 June 2026 
• 23 June 2026 
• 30 June 2026 

Spend from one earning period cannot be carried over to another earning period.

Can I combine more than one purchase?

Yes. You can combine multiple eligible purchases, as long as:

• They were made on eligible Tuesdays. 
• They were made within the same earning period. 
• They were made at eligible grocery stores or supermarkets in Malta. 
• Together, they add up to at least €50. 

For example, if you spend €20 on 5 May and €30 on 12 May at eligible supermarkets, you may qualify for cashback for Earning Period 1.

How much cashback can I get?

You can receive:

• €10 cashback per eligible card per earning period 
• Up to €20 cashback per card during the full campaign 

Cashback is subject to campaign limits and availability.

When will I receive the cashback?

If cashback is awarded, it should appear in your Moneybase account with the description:

MastercardDay Cashback

Your transaction must clear by 14 July 2026 to be considered eligible.

Why didn’t I receive cashback?

You may not receive cashback if:

• Your purchase was not made on an eligible Tuesday. 
• Your total spend did not reach €50 within the same earning period. 
• The merchant was not classified as an eligible grocery store or supermarket. 
• The transaction did not clear by 14 July 2026. 
• Your card was blocked, cancelled, inactive, Maestro, or commercial. 
• The purchase was reversed. 
• The campaign cap or budget had already been reached.
