If you want to use your business card with a new currency, you first need to create a new wallet for that currency and give it a wallet name during setup.
Business cards are not linked automatically to your default wallet. Each new wallet has its own IBAN, so creating a wallet in an additional currency will use one of the IBANs included in your business plan.
Business plan IBAN limits
The number of IBANs you can create depends on your business plan:
- Small Business - 2 IBANs
- Growth - 5 IBANs
- Enterprise - 20 IBANs
For example, if you are on the Small Business plan, you can have up to 2 IBANs in total. If you already have your default multi-currency IBAN and one additional IBAN, you have reached your plan limit and will not be able to create another wallet unless you upgrade your plan.
Good to know
Each wallet / IBAN can support multiple cards. Per user, you can have:
- up to 2 physical cards
- up to 2 virtual cards
This means you may not need to create a separate wallet for every card, since multiple cards can be linked to the same wallet / IBAN.
What can I do if I’ve reached my IBAN limit?
If you have already used all the IBANs included in your plan, you would need to upgrade to a higher business plan before creating another wallet.
