For Moneybase business account users we have designed multiple views to display fees as each view has a different purpose in mind. Infact, the way fees are currently shown in the app are different to how they are viewed in downloadable reports.

  • In the app’s transaction list, the focus is on showing the actual payments in and out of your account. For example, if you send €1,200 with a €0.15 fee, the list will show €1,200 as the amount sent, since that is the amount the beneficiary receives. Tapping on a transaction reveals more detail, including any fees charged.

  • In the cash statement report, which is used more for accounting and reconciliation, the fee is included in the total amount affecting the balance—so using the same example, the statement would reflect €1,200.15 going out, which aligns with how your account balance is impacted.

For a full overview of fees on your Moneybase account, we also provide a dedicated “Statement of Fees” report that itemizes all charges over a selected period, which tool can also be useful for accounting or audit purposes.
